But wisdom requires hard work to be acquired. However, listening is not bad to obtain wisdom when you hear stories from experience d people, so that we can learn it, and apply it in our life. Thanks for this blog, it is fantastic! Mr. Mel!
“Acquiring wisdom has no cost”…So does this rule out learning from difficult/painful experiences, which often come at a great cost?
I think some of the wisdom I have was only learned because it cost so much.
…Then there is school/University, the cost of that wisdom lasts a lifetime 🙂
Great post, regardless of my contradictory questions.
Temporary pain is nothing more that listening. Sometime it is required to get your attention. Monetary cost is not a measure of wisdom. Education and wisdom are opposites, education is acquiring knowledge not wisdom. Wisdom is knowing what to do with the knowledge you have acquired.
The requirement (from my point of view)- to listen and follow my heart! Thank you!

If you are listening you have no need to react. I see you are listening.

Couldn’t agree more. It is a great quality to not pretend but actually listen.

A good listener is a unique person, one capable of discovering the gifts that others bring. But you already know that.
