Mr. Mel, I think, there is an extra letter in the phrase “and anchor.” For a.moment, my brow creased trying to imagine how doubt can be a sail. Ah, then I realized that if a sail is still unfurled, it can be indeed likened to doubt, or rather doubt can be likened to an unfurled sail.
